Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has named a 30-man squad for the team’s opening 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde with debut call-ups for Malmö FF midfielder Innocent Bonke.
Bonke was born on January 20, 1996. He has featured 15 times with the Swedish Champions Malmö FF this season.
Bonke who will be hoping to utilize his first call-up to the senior national team, played a crucial role in the Malmo FF’s qualification to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
He joined Malmö FF in 2017, he has been a consistent performer for the Swedish side since his arrival three seasons ago.
