Anthony Joshua has stopped Jake Paul in the sixth round of their heavyweight fight in Miami
Former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua has defeated Jake Paul, scoring three knockdowns before ending the fight with a brutal right hand in round six.
The bout marked Joshua’s first fight in 14 months, following his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
Despite showing courage, Paul was outmatched by Joshua’s size, power, and experience. Joshua weighed 243.4lbs, nearly two stone heavier than Paul at 216lbs.
After the fight, Joshua praised Paul’s effort, saying the YouTuber-turned-boxer “kept getting up” and deserved respect.
Paul admitted defeat but vowed to return, saying he “gave it everything”.
The fight, streamed live on Netflix, ends Paul’s biggest test in professional boxing with a decisive stoppage.
